SPRING COMBINED COLLECTION

 2023 Spring Combined Collection

A Message from Bishop Alberto Rojas

I wish to thank you for your devotion in carrying out the ministry of God. By participating in the Spring Combined Collection (SCC), we honor God’s commandment “to love one another as I love you” so that Christ’s “joy may be in you and your joy might be complete.” Supporting the national and international ministries below via the SCC is our opportunity to put our faith in action and share from our relative abundance with those who are in greater need. As you review the information below, reflect on all your blessings, and respond with the love of Christ by making a generous contribution today!

Catholic Relief Services (CRS)

The Catholic Relief Services Collection is your opportunity to improve the lives of the most vulnerable people around the world and here in the United States. Your support funds organizations that aid travelers, people affected by war and natural disasters, others whose work or unique cultural circumstances require special pastoral support, and migrants and refugees displaced by conflict, persecution, or political instability.

Catholic Communication Campaign

Your support for the CCC helps the Church to modernize how it communicates the joy of the Gospel in developing nations worldwide. Not only does it help spread the Gospel, but it also helps form young disciples and gives them the practical skills they need to navigate today’s digital media environment.

Peter’s Pence Collection

The Holy Father’s charitable outreach to victims of war, migrants and refugees, and the poor affected by illness and natural disasters is supported by contributions to the Peter’s Pence Collection. When you participate in the collection, you join Catholics across the globe in supporting the pope’s mission of mercy as well as the activities of the Holy See’s dicasteries that assist his ministry.

Catholic Campaign for Human Development

CCHD supports those living in poverty by funding programs that empower local communities to address the challenges they face. It identifies and addresses the unique obstacles people face as they work to lift themselves and their communities out of poverty. In addition, 25% of the funds we collect remain in our diocese to fund local anti-poverty projects.

Please prayerfully consider supporting this year’s 2023 Spring Combined Collection as an act of mercy and charity.
