About this Fund
Through God’s grace and your generosity, many parishioners across the Diocese of San Bernardino shared their financial blessings with those affected by natural disasters such as, but not limited to, typhoons, epic droughts, month-long wildfires and terrorism against innocent people. As these stories fade from the attention of the nightly news, the hope for relief and healing continues.
The people impacted by unforeseen circumstances change year after year, but the mission remains the same, to alleviate poverty, homelessness, and human suffering in more than 85 countries which are supported by the Spring Combined Collection (SCC) these include the following:

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) assisting victims of human trafficking, casualties of natural
disaster and war, those living with HIV/AIDS, victims of poverty, and refugees.
Catholic Communications Campaign helping the Church in the United States to spread the Gospel by developing resources in print, for television and radio and online. Half of all the proceeds donated remain in our diocese to aid in local efforts to help in spreading the Good News.
Peter’s Pence enabling the Holy Father to respond with immediate emergency assistance to the most disadvantaged throughout the world-- those who suffer as a result of war, oppression, disease, and natural disaster.
Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) the Catholic Church’s anti-poverty program in the United States which funds community-based programs that advocate for policy changes in labor and housing, reform education curricula, and tackle other poverty issues. In addition 90% of the donations received are used to benefit the poor in our diocese.
