About this Fund
The Fall Combined Collection strives to make it easier to share our Catholic faith with others across our diocese, the nation and throughout the world by equipping lay and consecrated Catholics with the tools they need to spread the mission of Our Lord and Savior to every corner of the earth in the following ways:
Church among Black and Native Americans that offers financial assistance and evangelization programs to African American and Native ministries throughout the country and within the Diocese of San Bernardino. Local support is given through sacramental ministers who baptize, marry, and lead prayer services and funerals on our six local Indian reservations, as well as direct services to Catholics of African Descent for Catholic School scholarships and cultural evangelization gatherings.
Church in Latin America would receive funds for seminarian and religious formation, religious education, evangelization, diaconate training and research in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Solidarity Fund for the Church in Africa to provide workshops on justice, peace and development in Nigeria; training on peace building in Ghana; and pastoral care for the sick, natural family planning and HIV/AIDS prevention among youth in Zimbabwe.
Catholic Home Missions to enable Catholic parishes in poor communities to keep their doors open and to provide Mass, sacraments, and religious education for children and adults.
